Canon Matte Photo Paper
Get Adobe Reader You need Adobe Reader to print these files. You can down Acrobat Reader by clicking here.

1 The image can be displayed by clicking on the picture you wish to download.

2 Click on the Print button, Set up the printer and commence printing.

From [Properties], click on [Basic Settings] and set the [Media Type] to [Matt Photo Paper], and the [Print Quality] to high.

Next, select [Page Setup] and set [Paper Size] to [Letter] , and [Print Layout] to portrait. Set the [Print Type] to [Normal-Size Printing] if printing tags or fonts. When printing a pattern paper or borders, set the [Print Type] to [Borderless Printing] and the [Amount of Extension] to maximum.

When you have completed these settings, click on the OK button to return to the print screen and commence printing.

3 Choose your photos and backing paper.

First, choose some backing paper that will suit your photos nicely. Choosing pattern paper in the same hue as one of the colors in your photo will make it easier to choose backgrounds that compliment your photos, and will improve the overall tone of your scrapbook. Photos featuring a lot of different colors tend to look best on neutral backgrounds (white, beige etc).

4 Choose photo size and decide layout.

Create a stronger impact by enlarging the size of your photos from L (89mm×127mm) to 2L (178mm×127mm). Place the photos on the paper and choose where to position them. Drawing a sketch of your desired final product at this stage helps to avoid confusion and will result in a well-balanced layout.

5 Attach the photos to mats.

The mats serve to make the photos stand out. Hold several different types of paper up to the photo, and choose one that provides a good contrast to the photo. Cut it to an appropriate size that is well-balanced in proportion to the size of the page. The width of the mat should be about 3mm to 1cm wider than the photo. Here, I have chosen light blue cardstock and brown floral pattern paper, cut them to a size larger than the photos and attached them as mats in between the photos and the backing paper. Since the subject is not quite centered in the photos, I have trimmed the edges of the photos a little. Later I will be inserting message tags between the photo on the left and the mat underneath it, so I will leave the left edge of the photo unglued when attaching it to the mat.

6 Add some decorations.

I cut out some flowers from the brown floral pattern paper, and glued them on the bottom half of the page. Then, I cut three circles from the brown floral tags, glued them to thick paper to make them more three-dimensional, stapled some ribbons to them, and glued them on the top right of the page.

7 Add a title.

Choose a title that fits with the theme of your photos. Here, I have used a computer to print the text using a large font size, and, using this as a stencil, cut out the letters from the left over brown floral pattern paper.

8 Add some massages.

I chose two floral tags, and stapled ribbons to them on the left-hand side. Using a water-resistant, water-based ink pen, I wrote some messages and memories on the tags, and inserted them under the photo on the left. The scrap book is now complete.
