| Launch Word and open a new, blank document. The first thing to do is to set up your page. From the [File] menu, select [Page Setup]. When the dialog box opens, click on the [Margins] tab and set [Top], [Bottom], [Left] and [Right] to [0]. When you have finished the settings, click [OK]. | ||

| If you want to put a scrapbook consisting of several pages into a single Word file, you need to add the required number of pages before you insert the scrapbook and photographs. When you first open up a new blank document, there is only one page. From the [Insert] menu, select [Break] and check [Page Break] and then click [OK]. This will create another blank page. Repeat this operation to create as many blank pages as you need. Then, click on the target pages and insert your scrapbook and photographs. | ||

| The scrapbook will be inserted to the full size of the page. If you attempt to insert a photograph here, it will be pushed on to the next page, in order to avoid the scrapbook. | ||

| The photograph will fill the whole page, so you need to resize it to fit into the scrapbook frame (white area). Select the photograph and drag the resizing handles at the corners to resize the photograph. Drag the photograph to reposition it. | ||

| To rotate the photograph, select it and then drag the object rotation handle at the top. | ||

| When the photograph layout is set, select the photograph and then right click on it and select [Order] and then [Send to Back]. The photograph will be moved behind the scrapbook. If you are inserting several photographs, repeat Step 4 to 8 for each photograph. | ||

| To select a photograph that is at the back of the scrapbook, click on the scrapbook and select it. Then, keep pressing the Tab key until the target photograph is selected. Once the target photograph is selected, the resizing handles and the rotation handle will be displayed, allowing you to adjust the size and the angle of the photograph. | If two or more photographs are overlapping each other, extending into the next frame, you can crop the excess part of the overlapping photograph. Click on the scrapbook and press the Tab key till the photograph you want to crop is selected. When the photograph is selected, click on the [Crop] button in the Picture toolbar. Thick, black lines appear on the sides and at the corners of the image. Drag the lines towards the centre of the picture and trim the overlapping section. | ||

| You can place your photographs in other places in the scrapbook, outside of the frames. In that case, don't send the photograph to the back, but adjust the size, angle and position of the photograph and crop it if necessary to maintain the balance with the other photographs and objects. | ||

| Enter a comment. |
| The scrapbook is designed with label and memo spaces so that you can enter comments. And, you can also enter text in other areas, so you can easily add comments into areas where the text will be easy to read. Click on the scrapbook and select [Text Box] from the [Insert] menu. | ||

| Drag the cursor diagonally across the area where you want to enter a comment. A textbox will open up so you can enter text, such as a comment or the date, etc. | ||

| To change the font and character size, select the whole text and then set the font and font size in the toolbar. | ||

| The text box appears white with a black border, so let's make it transparent. Select the text box and then from the [Format] menu select [Text Box]. In the dialog box, click on the [Colors and Lines] tab. Under [Fill], select [Color] and then [No Fill]. Under [Line], select [Color] and then [No Line]. When you are finished, click [OK]. | ||

| Set the printer. From the [File] menu, select [Print]. In the dialog box, under [Printer], check that the printer you are using appears in the [Name] field. | Next, click on the [Page Setup] tab. Here, set the [Paper Size] to [Letter] and check the [Borderless Printing] box. When the message [Print without margins has been set] appears, click [OK].
