 Foremost in using Photoshop is learning the standard display structure.
 Here are the names and functions of the major elements.
A Menu:
Menus are used to open files or choose compensation functions
B Toolbox:
The major tools used to manipulate images are stored in the toolbox.
C Tool options:
The tool options change with the tool chosen from the tool box; options for the selected tool can be changed.
D Palettes:
Palettes contain image information, colors, layers, etc. Photoshop has many palettes.
E Palette well:
The palette well helps you organize and manage palettes. Dragging a palette to the palette well stores the palette in the well. To use it, click on the palette tab.
F Document window:
This is where the document is displayed.
