1. Crop the image to the size to be printed

Now let's crop the image to fit the printer paper. For this demonstration, we will make the image fit 2L format printer paper, 17.8 x 12.7 cm.
1-1 Select the Crop Tool

Click the Crop Tool in the toolbar to select it. Then indicate the size and resolution of the cropping in the tool option bar. Set the width to 17.8 cm, and the height to 12.7 cm. Then set the resolution to 300 ppi (pixels per inch).

Select the Crop Tool
Enter the parameters for the width, height and resolution.
1-2 Cropping
Once you have set the size and resolution parameters for cropping, drag the tool over the area you wish to crop. The area outside that which is to be cropped is darkened. You can adjust the size and location of the cropped area by dragging the rectangular border. Once you have set the image to be cropped the way you want it, click the check mark at the right end of the tool option bar to crop the image.
