2. Adding scanning lines to the CRT screen

2-1 Merge two images into one layer.
 Select [Flatten Image] in the [Layer] menu, to merge the two layers into one.


2-2 Duplicate the layer.
 Select [Duplicate Layer] in the [Layer] menu. In the dialog box that appears, enter CRT in the [As] field and click [OK].


2-3 Draw scanning lines.
 Make sure that the CRT layer is selected. Select [Halftone Pattern] from [Sketch] in the [Filter] menu. In the dialog box that appears, set [Size] to 12, [Contrast] to 0, and [Pattern] [Type] to Line and click [OK].


2-4 Set the Blending Mode for the layer.
 Set [Blending Mode] to Multiply and [Opacity] to 50% for the CRT layer.
