 |
| Let’s try staggering colors. Display the “Channels” palette. If you cannot
see the “Channels” palette, select “Channels” from the “Window” menu.
When you click on “Red” on the “Channels” palette, only the red channel is displayed
in the window, in grey scale. |

 |
| Select the “Move Tool” from the Tool Box and move the image by dragging it slightly
down and to the right. In the event that you wish to stagger the channel by a large degree, move the image
further at this point. |

 |
| From the “Select” menu, select “All” to create a selected area around
the entire image. From the “Edit” menu, select “Transform” and then “Rotate,” and
drag the outer edge of the image to rotate it. At this point, widen the size of the window by dragging the
bottom right hand corner of the window downwards and to the right so that the window becomes slightly larger
than the image. After rotating the image, finalize it by pressing the “Enter” key. |

  |
 |
 |
| From the “Select” menu, select “None” to clear any selected areas.
Clicking on “RGB” in the “Channels” palette will return you to the original situation
where all channel are displayed at the same time. Check to see whether staggering effects are exactly right
or not. If the staggering effects are not to you liking, display the channels individually again and make
the necessary corrections. |
