Create the reflection by combining a photo of a scene or person with a close-up photo
of the pupil of an eye. You might choose to use a close-up photo of your own pet as the reflected image.
If you look closely at a person's eye, you will see yourself or a scene reflected in it. The actual reflection, however,
is not so clear. When creating such an image by combining photos, the reflection must be made clearer than it actually appears. |

| In this example, the image of the eye is darkened by color adjustment
so the reflected image of the man stands out. To add a cool finish, corrugated stripes are added to the image
area other than the eye area. |

1.Selecting and saving areas
Select two areas in the close-up eye image using [Edit in Quick Mask Mode]. One area is the entire
image area other than the eye area; the other area is the entire image area other than the
iris area. Save the selected areas. |

2.Combining two images and
fitting one into the other
After darkening the image of the eye, copy and paste the man's image as a reflection onto the image
of the eye. Select [Scale] and [Distort] from the menu to adjust its size and angle. Then, distort
the image using the [Spherize] filter to make it look like a reflection on a spherical surface. |

3.Making the image look like
a reflection
Using the selected areas you saved, delete any unwanted areas in the man's image that do not fit
into the eye or iris. Next, use [Blending Mode] to overlap the image to make it look like a reflection.
Then, use the [Brush Tool] to add a highlight to the image of the iris. |

4.Creating corrugated stripes
Draw a horizontal straight line using the [Brush Tool] and duplicate it to make stripes. Corrugate
the duplicated stripes using a [Wave] filter. Delete the stripes from the eye area. To blur
the corrugated stripes, duplicate and misalign the stripe layer and change the [Opacity]. |
