| Open the image to be processed. You can use any image for this sample. Use your favorite

| Select [Duplicate Layer] from the [Layer] menu. A dialog appears. Click [OK]. |

| Select the background layer in the layers palette, and select [Hue/Saturation] from
[Adjustments] in the [Image] menu. A dialog appears. Check [Set Hue/Saturation]. Set [Hue] to15, [Saturation]
to 20 and [Lightness] to -25, then click [OK]. |

| Select the layer named Background Copy in the Layers palette. Select [Level] from
[Adjustments] in the [Image] menu. Set [Input Level] to 90, 1.00 and 150 from left to right, and click [OK]. |

| Select [Hue/Saturation] from [Adjustments] in [Image] menu. A dialog appears. Check
[Set Hue/Saturation]. Set [Hue] to 40, [Saturation] to 25 and [Lightness] to +15, then click [OK]. |

| To make the photo appear blurred, apply the [Blur] filter to the profile of the subject in the desired settings. Select the [Gaussian Blur] filter from the [Filter] menu. A dialog appears. Set [Radius] and click [OK]. In this example, [Radius] is set to 30 pixels. Even if the same values apply, the result will differ from the example depending on the resolution of the photo. It is best to set [Radius] to your preferred value. |
