| Open the image. If the image contrast is large, problems on the skin such as pigmented
spots or wrinkles can sometimes stand out. This can be corrected by diffusing the light surrounding the problem
spot. |

| Select [Duplicate Layer] in the [Layer] menu, and enter bright 1 in [As] in the dialog box.
Click [OK]. |

| Make sure that the bright 1 layer is selected, select [Gaussian Blur] from [Blur]
in the [Filter] menu. Set the [Radius] to 60.0 pixels in the dialog box, and click [OK]. |

| In the layers palette, change the [Blending mode] for the bright 1 layer to Screen.
The blurred image becomes diffuse. |
