Attaching a frame –

| Next we need to create a white background behind the frame. From the “Layer” menu, select “New” and then “Layer. Name the layer “white” and then click “OK.” On the Layers palette, drag the layer to the bottom. |

| In the Layers palette, select the “white” layer and select “Fill” from the “Edit” menu. In the dialogue box that appears, set “Use” to “White” and click “OK.” |

| Select “Layer 0” in the Layers palette. From the “Layer” menu, select “Style” and then “Bevel and Emboss.” In the dialogue box that appears, set the “Style” to “Bevel (inner edge)” and “Technique” to “Chisel Hard” so that the contours of the marble appear angular and enter values for the “Depth” and “Size.” In the example, the “Depth” has been set to “200%” and the “Size” to “30px,” Even if the same values apply, the result will differ from the example depending on the resolution of the photo. It is best to set each item to your preferred value. Leave everything else as it is and click “OK.” |

| Next, select “Layer Style” and then “Drop Shadow” from the “Layer” menu. In the dialogue box that appears, enter values for the “Distance” and “Size.” In the example, the “Distance” was set to “60px” and the “Size” to “60px.” Even if the same values apply, the result will differ from the example depending on the resolution of the photo. It is best to set each item to your preferred value. Leave everything else as it is and click “OK.” |

| In step “1-17” we set the color of the marble image to brown. By assigning different “Hue/Saturation” values it is possible to create marble images in different colors. Try making a blue marble image for example. By setting the “Hue” to “209,” “Saturation” to “19” and “Lightness” to “23” in the dialogue box shown in step “1-17,” it is possible to create a blue marble frame. Try changing the “Hue/Saturation” settings to make a range of different colored marble images. |
