| On a layer in color, create another layer in sepia. Using a layer
mask, hide part of the sepia image. Then, in the hidden part, the color image underneath appears. Therefore,
the specified part will be in color. |

Duplicate the background layer. Select [Hue/Saturation] from [Adjustments] in the [Image] menu,
check [Colorize], and change the image to sepia. |
