Information:
The Euoplocephalus is an herbivorous dinosaur that lived in North America during the late Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic era. As implied by its name, which means "well-armored head," one of the Euoplocephalus' most outstanding characteristics was the hard bony armor that encased its body. Approximately seven meters in length and with a heavy appearance, the Euoplocephalus may look like a slow-moving dinosaur. But the lightness of its armor suggests it may have moved with surprising speed. At the tip of its tail was a lump of bone, which the Euoplocephalus may have swung like a hammer in self-protection. However, no direct evidence has been found that indicates the tail was used in this way. |
