Make a photo more colorful by increasing the saturation of the image. In this example,
intentionally fade out the periphery of the photo, so that the photo appears to fit within an area that has
been brushed. |

| Increase the saturation in [Hue/Saturation], duplicate the background
layer, and set [Blending Mode] to [Screen]. Paint out the new background layer in white, and use [Layer
Mask] to create the part where the image will remain visible and the other part where it will be invisible.
Create a range of effects for the image by changing the shape of the brush in [Brush Picker]. |

Increase the saturation and duplicate the background layer. Blur the background layer to make the
image look blurred. Increase the saturation of the duplicated layer, and set [Blending Mode] to
[Screen]. |

2. Making the image appear to fit within
the area that has been brushed
Create a new background layer and paint it out in white. Add [Layer Mask] and select black from
[Blending Color]. Drag the image with the [Brush] tool so that the photo below becomes partially
visible. Make it appear to be painted roughly with a brush. |

3. Placing text in the image and making
it appear to be blurred
Enter text and make the settings. Use [Outer Glow] in [Layer Style] to make the text look blurred. |
