A mobile is made by hanging ornaments made from lightweight materials such as paper, plastic, metal, or thin pieces of wood from strings or poles, balancing them in position. When blown by the wind or lightly pushed by someone's hand, they spin around in interesting patterns, making them fun to watch. There are some very valuable mobiles, such as "moving sculpture" artworks, but in general they are used as interior decorations or educational toys. This mobile is based on the Girls' Festival, known as "Momo no Sekku" in Japanese. Hang it up in your home as a good luck charm to pray for your child's healthy growth.
