The two swinging bluespotted boxfishes seem like they are actually swimming in the small tank. This papercraft is perfect as a decoration. Why not display it in your room? The bluespotted boxfish is a saltwater fish distributed in coral and rock reefs in the Atlantic ocean, Indian ocean, and mid-latitude areas of the Pacific ocean. It can grow up to between 20 and 40cm in length. The bluespotted boxfish has a hard carapace(shell) covering its body, made out of armored plate-like scales. This carapace forms a box shape, which makes it difficult for the fish to swim well. Largely solitary creatures, if threatened they secrete poisons from their skin to protect themselves. However, their beautiful shape and patterns give them an ornamental charm. This papercraft is based on the bluespotted boxfish, known for its light blue spots, and the yellow boxfish, which can be identified by its large black spots.
