Tonbo-mon is an original Chiyogami pattern representing the dragonfly motif that was used on the ceremonial bronzes of the Yayoi period (c. 300 B.C. - 300 A.D.). The dragonfly is known for its agility and its skill in attacking, so the dragonfly pattern was popular with the samurai for use on their armor and weapons. We have gold, green and purple patterns for you to download.
