Zakuro-mon is an original Chiyogami pattern which shows a pomegranate with its characteristic pointed tip. The pomegranate contains many seeds and so the pattern is used to symbolize plentiful and prosperous progeny. The pomegranate is often carried by Kishibojin, the goddess of children, and is sometimes also called "Kichijoka". We have red, yellow and purple patterns for you to download.
