Santa-mon is an original chiyogami pattern, representing the pomegranate, peach and "bushukan" (fingered citron). The pomegranate signifies plentiful offspring, the peach longevity and the bushukan happiness. The pattern is also called "‘sanka-mon"(three fruit symbols).
