Kakitsubata-mon (Iris pattern) features beautiful iris flowers, which have been a common design element in various kinds of craftwork in Japan since ancient times. Iris blossoms are combined with images of traditional Japanese zigzag bridges and flowing water to create this original chiyogami design.
