Uchiwa-mon is an original Chiyogami pattern depicting scattered uchiwa (round fans) which, according to Chinese custom, have the supernatural ability to resurrect the souls of the dead. Also, the uchiwa was carried by one of the Eight Hermits and used to be considered a symbol of high rank and noble birth. We have white, red and blue patterns for you to download.
