[Leonardo da Vinci / The Last Supper] "The Last Supper" means the final meal Jesus Christ shared with his disciples. Jesus told His twelve disciples that one of them would betray Him. After that, Jesus Christ was arrested by Judah's betrayal, and was crucified. This artwork by Leonardo dramatically expresses the moment of His prediction of betrayal of His disciple. The disciples are separated into groups of three, some are shaken, some are angered and some are about to faint from the shock. Copyright/Photo:The Bridgeman Art Library/DNP Archives
